WHO WE ARE

Space ID was formed over 15 years ago by Mike, Phill and Marc – 3 leading Design Directors from a multiple award-winning international design agency. The founders started the business from scratch and through sheer word of mouth and recommendations have created a company with a tight-knit family of 6 designers and an extensive client portfolio that extends throughout the country and Europe, from small family boutique cafés to large hotel chains.

The relationships and trust that they formed with clients as Space ID continues to grow, relates to a high retention rate, and repeat business.

WHAT WE DO

Working from the very infancy of a project, we look to support and guide our clients throughout their journey, from the initial leasing phases and suitability of sites to the handover and launch of the business. We maintain a good relationship and stay in touch once a project is complete and oversee the snagging of the unit some 6-12 months after.

The services we offer cover the initial plan development and concept design which focuses on the function of the space, then how we hit the target demographic design-wise. The approved layouts would then be handed over to our in-house architectural team for local authority applications – Listed Building, Planning, Building Control, Advertisement and Licensing Applications. The design would then be enhanced and sample boards developed, showing texture and suitability. Working alongside our sister companies we can involve static impressions or VR and support your business using branding, operational support and supply of FF&E. A full construction working drawing package would be developed to allow pricing and we would work alongside appointed consultants to get the project to tender pricing.

After negotiations and value engineering, we would look to safeguard the design on site and undertake regular visits and problem-solve issues, right through to handover. From here we would snag the venue and support the client with any concerns.
